W e imagined that when Nello sees La Pia for the first time it was "La Brama" - to
desire, lust and crave her pure beauty.
The label comes from a large format oil painting on an old bedsheet that our son
made for his sister that hangs on her bedroom wall.
A "young wine" that ages well with a soft ruby red color. An elegant floral scent with notes of violet and white flowers on the nose, fresh taste, soft on the palate with light, well integrated tannins.
In this wine the "terroir" speaks. The grapes come from the southwest portion of the vineyard. After fermentation La Brama is rested in cement vats for 12 months to develop it's aroma and flavor.
