QUINTOCANTO

Dante meets La Pia in the fifth chapter (Quintocanto) of Purgatory Where she reveals the story of her violent death at the hands of her husband Nello.
The label is a pencil drawing by our son to hide La Pia's beauty behind a veil, like the tragedy that befell her.
An intense deep ruby red color that on the nose is rich in black cherry and raspberry aroma which create sweet notes of jam with spice and licorice nuances on the palate. An elegant and voluminous first taste that reveals well integrated dense tannins for a long persistent finish.
